Dr. Berman was born in Chicago Il, and grew up in Southern California. He attended California State University, Long Beach, and received his Doctor of Optometry from The Southern California College of Optometry in 1974.  After practicing for 40 years in Long Beach California, Dr. Berman retired to Prescott. His specialties included contact lenses, senior vision problems, and industrial vision consulting. Dr. Berman has been married to Kathy for 42 years, has 3 children, 8 grandchildren, and a cattle dog. He keeps busy with cycling, music, hiking and travel.
